Jake's Truck Shop, Inc. began as a truck accessory sales and custom build facility in January 1996, with a small trailer sales department. In 1998, we made a decision to focus entirely on the sale and service of automobile transport equipment specifically open rack carriers. We offered three manufacturers, Orange Blossom, Pleasant Valley and Wally-Mo trailers, to a growing customer base.

In January of 1999, we became Cottrell, Inc.'s first dealer representative and began to offer their new high mount trailers to the public. Our attendance at the Mid-America Truck Show in March helped launch this new product line of eight and nine car carriers. Soon we became increasingly involved with our customers needs for stinger steer equipment, both trailer only and complete units.

Since then, we have added Boydstun Metal Works, Inc., Carterbuilt Services, Inc. and Delavan Industries, Inc. to our program. We have also established relationships with truck manufactures, including Freightliner, Peterbilt, Sterling and Volvo, allowing us to assist the customer in their choice of power equipment. This unmatched availability of equipment, helps distinguish Jake's Truck Shop, Inc. as a leader in the industry.

However, our standard is not the availability of product, but rather our commitment to customer service. It is here that we excel in placing the customer first. We can be reached seven days a week to assist in locating qualified repair facilities throughout the continental U.S. and Canada.
